Privacy Policy

MyTherapist is an AI companion for mental, spiritual, and physical wellbeing. This page explains what we store and how it is used.

What we collect

• Your email address and, if you use Google sign-in, your name.
• Your conversations: every message you send and every reply you receive, with timestamps.
• Numeric embeddings of your messages, used so the assistant can recall relevant things you shared earlier.
• When you accepted our disclaimer.

How it is used

• To provide the chat and show your history when you return.
• Your messages are sent to the language model service we operate to generate replies. They are not sold or used for advertising.
• Operational logs record timings and counts, never message content.

Your controls

• Delete any conversation from the sidebar.
• Delete your account from the user menu. This permanently removes your profile, conversations, messages, and embeddings.

Security

Data is stored with Supabase behind per-user access rules, so one user can never read another's conversations. No system is perfectly secure; please avoid sharing information you are not comfortable storing.

MyTherapist is not a licensed clinician, does not diagnose, and is not for emergencies. In crisis, call or text 988 (US) or your local emergency number.
